Ebony was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and moved to Houston, Texas at the age of 4, where she was raised. She graduated from Booker T. Washington High School/HSEP in Houston, and was granted with the opportunity to attend and graduate from Prairie View A&M University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, and a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Ebony has always had a deep dedicated passion for helping others and giving back because she recognized that her success was in part, a product of others that took the time to give back and help her. This passion grew into her founding Diamond Footprints, Inc., along with 3 other driven women, which is a non-profit organization geared towards mentoring and tutoring young girls. Ebony also serves on the Board of Directors for Prettiest Pearls Inc, and as a chairperson for Mademoiselles Alumnae Inc. which are both dedicated to service to youth girls. Ebony is also an active member with the Top Ladies of Distinction – Humble Intercontinental Chapter and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. In 2016, Ebony graduated from the Houston Black Leadership Institutewhich is under the umbrella of the Greater Houston Black Chamber of Commerce. This organization was developed to build a pipleline of leaders through common networks to implement and  execute meaningful programming that can incite change within our communities. She works as an engineer for a major oil & gas company in which she served as the Greater Houston Community Service Leader for the African-American Forum. Ebony also works as an adjunct professor at the Energy & Manufacturing Institute for Lone Star College System in Houston. Yet, Ebony’s most prized occupation is the job of being mommy to her 11 year old daughter, Saniya who is an author, entertainer, and kidpreneur. Her ultimate goal in life is to leave a rich legacy of doing God’s work, and to encourage others to feel empowered to live fulfilled lives while helping the next person accomplish their goals. “Pay It Forward”.
